The idea behind the Gemini project is to optimize performance and energy consumption in underfloor heating systems.
We decided to redesign the basic concept of linear thermal actuators on manifolds and transform them into an actuator that can simultaneously manage multiple ways serving the same area of the house, optimizing installation and, above all, energy consumption.
We replaced the traditional heating element with electronics developed entirely by Emme-gi, while maintaining the spring system that ensures reliable closing of the manifold valve.
The result achieved is a consumption of less than 0.4W per way, less than half compared to the most efficient thermal actuators currently available on the market.
Strenghts
- Energy performance: consumption ≤ 0.4 W per way and maximum device absorption: 0.8 W, avoiding the typical current peaks of traditional systems.
- Simplified installation: a single electrical cable to connect for 2 or 3 ways, and a universal connection for all manifolds with an M30 x 1.5 connection and 50 mm center distance.
